Introduction (2 sentences)
Paraphrase the prompt, then state your position clearly. • "It is often argued that ____." • "This essay will argue that ____, for two main reasons."
Body paragraphs (one idea each)
Point, explain, example — one reason per paragraph. • "The first reason is that ____." • "For instance, ____." • "As a result, ____."
Conclusion (2 sentences)
Restate your position and summarise both reasons. • "In conclusion, ____." • "For these reasons, I firmly believe that ____."
Form checklist (free marks)
• 200–300 words • 4–5 paragraphs • exactly one clear position • no bullet points or headings in the real answer
