PTE MocksMock Practice Tests

🇦🇺 Australia migration

What PTE score do you need for Australia PR?

Your English level sets how many points you earn on the skilled-migration points test — and since 7 August 2025 the requirements are per skill, not a single overall number. Here's exactly what each level needs.

English levelListeningReadingWritingSpeakingPoints

Competent47485154+0

You must meet the cut score in every skill. The full conversions are on the PTE score chart.

The real problem

Most applicants are stuck one skill short.

Listening and Reading come easily for many; Writing 85 and Speaking 88 are the wall. That's exactly the gap our diagnostic finds — and the order to close it.

FAQ

Australia PR English questions.

Because every skill must hit its cut score individually. Under the new rules Writing 85 and Speaking 88 are demanding, so applicants who pass Listening and Reading easily still fall short on Speaking or Writing — and re-sit the whole test.

Results in roughly 48 hours, a fully computer-based test with no human interviewer, and AI scoring many find fairer — all of which matter when a visa deadline is close.
